Product Manager

Our client is a prominent Private Equity firm based in Boston. The firm invests in all types of private equity funds, including venture capital and leveraged buyout funds in addition to directly in operating companies. Company Perks and Rewards Base salary ranging from $130-160k + discretionary annual bonus up to 25% Benefits, 401K, PTO Hybrid work model (4 days in office) The Role As a Product Manager, you will ignite your passion for product innovation by leading the customer-centric development of groundbreaking quantitative data products to support private market investors. You will remove barriers to success by encouraging creative solutions and champion the culture of continuous innovation. Partner with enterprise clients and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Data, Research) to drive execution of the digital product vision, with ownership of the implementation of product features to achieve business goals. Plan, develop, and execute new product features, including: Working closely with design and engineering to define, document, and communicate clear feature requirements, ensuring shared understanding before and during development. Supporting feature development by clarifying requirements, answering questions, and helping ensure implementations align with approved specifications and designs. Coordinating testing, validation, and issue resolution to confirm features function as expected prior to launch. Collaborate with internal teams and directly engage with customers to gather insights and validate product assumptions. Translate customer needs into product capabilities via collaboration with product users/engineering teams. Responsible for product performance, accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business goals Your Qualifications B2B SaaS experience working on new-build product development and delivery roadmaps, particularly ones with a strong front-end component. 4-5 years’ experience as a Product Manager, ideally in FinTech, investment management, asset management or financial services industries. Master of Arts (M.A) / Master of Science (M.S) / Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business, Digital Product Management / Development, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience. Proven history of driving product decisions through a deep understanding of customer journeys, consistently prioritizing customer beliefs and behaviors to define the product strategy and roadmap. A bias toward action and hands-on approach to driving implementation. An ability to enhance adoption of key product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
