Registered Nurse

This position is located in a clinic setting. General job duties include performing medication refills and checking the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program. The role entails ensuring patients have follow-up visits and effectively communicating with patients regarding lab results, medications, and tests. The RN will manage portal messages and assist physicians with hypoglossal nerve stimulator patients, including activation and adjustments. The position requires collaboration with both adult and pediatric neurology providers, as well as proposing orders and completing prior authorization tasks. Coordinating patient care and utilizing the Cerner electronic health record system is essential. The clinic houses approximately 20 exam rooms and 9 sleep labs, handling an average of 50 patients per day. The dress code is scrubs or business casual. Training will include both computer and hands-on learning to help the applicant feel comfortable with their duties. All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
