Description : CNA / Teacher Assistant 190-day position Salary: $21,874 base salary (based on education and teacher assistant experience) Location: Hartsville High School Available: 2026-2027 School Year FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Qualifications State Certification as a Nursing Assistant and one of the following: High School Diploma or the equivalent ANDReady to Work Credentials** WIN - Copy of WIN Assessment minimum of Silver: Level 4 or higher or Work Keys - Copy of passing scores on three areas of Work Keys AssessmentApplied Mathematics (4), Reading for Information (4), Writing (4) or ParaPro - Copy of passing score (minimum 456) on ParaPro, the state approved academic assessment Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education An associate degree (or higher) Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Responsible To: Principal Primary Duties And Responsibilities Certified Nursing Assistant Uphold professional standards and other state and local status and regulations within the scope of certified nursing assistant Apply appropriate theory as the basis for decision-making in nursing practice Follow the nursing care plan with specific goals and interventions which have been developed to delineate school nursing actions unique to a student's needs Assess student responses to nursing actions to determine progress made toward goal achievement Under the supervision of the school's registered nurse, carry out required duties Accompany student needing assistance (i.e., to/from bus, mainstream classes, cafeteria, etc.) Collaborate and participate with the school nurse and team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating student health care plans Assist the registered nurse in the health room areas as needed Assume responsibility for continuing education and professional development Maintain a professional relationship with students, parents, teachers, and staff Perform other duties as assigned Teacher Assistant Provide classroom teaching assistance Provide supervision of students at all times Maintain a positive classroom environment Provide students with daily care (e.g. toileting, diapering, feeding, etc.) as needed or required Adhere to district dress code policies Maintain required confidentiality in regard to students and school records Positively supports all facets of student growth and development Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds Perform other duties as assigned CLOSING DATE: UNTIL FILLED The District reserves the right at any time to extend the deadline without notice and without final consideration of any pending application. #J-18808-Ljbffr
