• Setting: Main campus hospital - on-site weekend call coverage

• Schedule: Every other weekend, Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 5:00 AM (weekend hospital coverage)
• Duration: Ongoing/indefinite
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,340 - $6,810
• On-Site Requirement: 30-minute response time (on-site emergency urology response)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Board certification in Urology (board-certified urologist)
• Active and unrestricted medical license in New York State (NY medical license)
• Ability to obtain emergency privileges during onboarding
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in urology practice
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call urology coverage every other weekend for the main campus hospital
• Respond to urgent urology consults and emergency urology calls within a 30-minute window
• Manage routine and urgent urology cases, including difficult Foley placements and kidney stone management
• Collaborate with PA support and other clinical staff who perform initial assessments
• Use personal phone for off-site call coverage as needed per hospital policy
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with anticipated low patient volume; escalate surgical or inpatient needs as appropriate
