Business Development ( Business Consultant / B2B Sales Representative )

Position Overview Permanent, full-time, direct-hire W2 role with a client, offering competitive base salary, full benefits, uncapped commission (including a guaranteed non-recoverable draw for the first 12 months), and residuals. This is an outside B2B sales/business development role targeting small- and medium-sized businesses (not enterprise clients) with short sales cycles and multiple deals per month. Responsibilities Sell Clover, an industry‑leading cloud‑based point‑of‑sale (POS) platform used by more than 700,000 merchants and processing over $330B in card transactions, to SMBs in the assigned territory, demonstrating its hardware/software integration and business management features. Manage a territory with dozens of branches from multiple established corporate partner banks, building relationships with business bankers to generate referrals and close deals, while self‑sourcing new opportunities to supplement partner pipelines. Conduct on‑site product demos and presentations, showing how the platform can streamline operations and boost revenue, and close sales deals in person. Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, self‑sourcing leads, generating referrals, closing deals, and ensuring territory performance and quota/KPI attainment, including turning around underperforming accounts. Qualifications Proven outside sales experience that consistently hits quota, builds own pipeline, and closes deals. Experience as a Business Banker, Commercial Relationship Banker, or Manager with SMB clients is a plus. Strong relationship‑building skills, self‑starter mindset, and ability to deliver proactive solutions that drive growth and retention.
