Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments
We are in search of a committed Clinical Psychologist to become a part of our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as a component of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role, you will assess behavioral health records through a secure web portal and carry out thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
- Review and interpret electronic medical records via a secure online platform.
- Document examination results accurately and complete necessary VA forms.
Note: This position does not involve treatment or medication prescriptions. Disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the psychologist.
Position Details:- Schedule: Part-Time, 2 days a week, Thursday & Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Location: In-person role.
- Caseload: Approximately 4 Veterans per day.
- Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.
- A compassionate psychologist who is passionate about aiding the Veteran community.
- Strong analytical abilities to assess medical records and evaluation data.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines.
- Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
- A professional and empathetic approach when engaging with Veterans.
- Possession of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA Accredited program.
- Active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Comfortable utilizing technology for record review and documentation.
