### Required Experience and Skills:- Must have 2 years or more of ICU experience- Hemodynamic monitoring with swans, art lines- Ventilator management- Strong critical thinking skills### Certifications:- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Basic Life Support (BLS)- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH)### Licensure:- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License (No temporary licenses accepted)### Preferred Skills:- Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) exposure- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) exposure- Experience with Meditech charting and order entry### Special Skills/Experience:- Experience in post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-cath with various cardiac support devices, including IABP, Impella, and ECMO### Unit Specific Requirements:- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system### Shift Details:- 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A- Rotating weekends- 13 or 26-week assignment- No call requirements- Floating required as per Methodist Floating Policy### Dress Code:- Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket### Other Policies:- Badging in/out required- Full 30-minute lunch required- Must be on time for scheduled shifts (Clock in by 6:38 am/pm; after 6:45 am/pm is considered tardy)
