FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Job Title: FLOOR TECHNICIAN Coreworks is hiring immediately for a full‑time Floor Technician position. Location: Alpas Wellness – 1014 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 Schedule: Full‑time Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required; hours may vary. Requirement: 2 years of prior floor care experience. Fixed pay rate: $21.00 per hour. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate a variety of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor areas. Use proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp surface treatment, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
