Job Title Registered Professional Nurse Compensation $34.96/hr Schedule Full-time 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Benefits Starting hourly pay: $34.96 with increases over first years of service $2,000 sign‑on bonus Opportunities for shift differential & overtime pay Tuition reimbursement & professional development Medical coverage beginning the first of the month after start date Dental, vision, and basic life insurance premiums free after eligibility period dependent on union representation Vacation, sick, holiday, and personal leave OPERS retirement: employee contributes 10% of salary, employer contributes 14% Job Responsibilities Provide professional nursing and emergency health care to residents; assess, evaluate, administer medications, perform daily rounds, record resident condition, and attune to clinical pathways. Act as lead worker for day‑to‑day operations of assigned unit or shift; direct RN, LPN, and aide staff; schedule, assign, review, and evaluate staff performance; participate in staff development. Perform related clerical and administrative tasks: chart medication orders, maintain controlled‑drug inventory, compile required reports, schedule appointments with outside providers. Participate in committees and problem‑solving teams; attend staff and in‑service meetings. Qualifications Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state of Ohio issued by the Board of Nursing. Commitment to high performance and innovative thinking while providing excellent veteran care. Strong attention to detail, conflict management, and the ability to establish relationships.
