Welder
Thibodaux, LA | Full-Time | Day Shift
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder to perform structural and pipe welding on construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong welding skills, can read blueprints, produces quality welds that meet inspection standards, and works safely in a fast-paced environment.
Must Haves
- 2+ years of welding experience
- Ability to pass a 6GR welding test
- Experience with Stick, MIG (Short Arc), Flux Core, and/or TIG welding
- Ability to produce quality welds that meet AWS and NDT standards
- Experience using grinders and other welding tools
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
Preferred
- Current 6GR welding certification
- Blueprint and weld symbol reading experience
- Structural and pipe welding experience
- Experience operating man lifts or aerial lifts
Qualifying Questions
- How many years of welding experience do you have?
- Are you able to pass a 6GR welding test?
- Which welding processes are you experienced with (Stick, MIG, Flux Core, TIG)?
