We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering,Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or in Engineering- 2 or more years of experience in system engineering, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry- Experience with system design, development, integration, and testing- Familiarity with airborne systems and components, including avionics, electrical, and mechanical systemsDesired Skills:- Familiarity with simulator development andtesting, preferably with flight simulators- Basic knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including 14 CFR Part 60- Experience with version control systems and agile development methodologies- Experience in problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues- Proficient with Microsoft Office- Familiarity with Agile Development and Model Based Systems Engineering Process a plus- Experience using tools such as Doors, Doors Next, Model Based Systems Engineering and AI tools- Familiarization with AI / Agile execution processSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
