Product Planning Strategist - Powertrain

Powertrain portfolio planning is a major factor shaping Stellantis' future portfolio and is a critical component of the regional performance plan. The Powertrain Product Planning Strategist will understand the market and brands need to help develop showroom plans to meet these requirements. They will also provide optimized alternatives to improve competitiveness of each product. This person will work in a team to analyze both the short and long-range volume plans of the fleet, assess and respond to various inputs, and develop solutions that meet the organization’s objectives.Powertrain objectives may include customer requirements, compliance requirements, competitive needs, global/regional convergence requirements and support profitability challengesInputs to these plans include changes to the long-range plan, planning volumes, emissions requirements, technology changes, program timing changes, regulatory changes, internal objectives, critical part shortages, and othersDistill complex or data intensive studies into clear narratives for communication to senior management and for governance eventsParticipate in the development of tools to improve operating efficiency in a powertrain area of operationsWork across several groups within portfolio planning as well as across the enterpriseWork with the regulatory development team to assess emerging rulemaking and to provide Stellantis feedback to rulemaking agenciesBasic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Strategic Planning, Business Administration or other Sales / Marketing Data Analytics studyMinimum of 8 years of relevant, professional experienceStrong operational knowledge of PowerPoint and ExcelAbility to analyze large sets of data and draw defendable solutionsDemonstrated ability as a complex problem solverAbility to communicate complex data simply (written and oral)Self-motivated with good interpersonal skillsExperience and passion building product and technology strategies for the automotive marketAble to meet aggressive deadlines and be available to support travel if requiredPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience with powertrain and/or drivetrain product development Prior experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks for adaptive development Strong understanding of electrified technologies and components (mHEV, HEV, PHEV, REEV, BEV)Brand: FCA GroupJob ID: 2021017Employment Type: Full-timeJob Area: Program & Project ManagementPosted Date: 20/08/2026
