The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Integrated Thoracic Surgery (I-6) Residency Program offers comprehensive training in adult cardiac surgery, general thoracic surgery, and congenital heart surgery. Position Title: PGY-3 Integrated Thoracic Surgery Resident (I-6) Open Position

Program Year: PGY-3 Start Date: June 24, 2026 Application Deadline: May 22, 2026

Eligibility Requirements:

- Applicants must have satisfactorily completed a minimum of two years in an ACGME-accredited integrated thoracic surgery program, or a combination of a - minimum of one year in an ACGME-accredited program in surgery or integrated vascular surgery and a minimum of one year in an ACGME-accredited integrated thoracic surgery program - Must be in good standing within their current training program. - Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina. - Must meet all institutional and ACGME requirements for appointment.
