Mobile Equipment Operator

Equipment Operatori-80 Gold Corp is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Equipment Operator for our Granite Creek site. This position requires safe and efficient operation of one or more processes to achieve defined operating targets. These processes may include hauling, equipment operation, and screening.Granite Creek Mine, 6750 Getchell Mine Road, Golconda NVResponsibilitiesHigh School Diploma or GED preferredOperation of one or more pieces of equipmentMonitoring equipment performanceChange between multiple pieces of equipment each shiftDemonstrating effective safety leadership within a team environment and promoting environmental awareness in all work or task related dutiesEnsuring required documentation, logs, and reports are up to date and completeMaintaining a high standard of housekeeping in work areasConduct training and provide mentorship to new hiresWorking with and assisting the maintenance team (as required) to ensure equipment is in optimal operating condition to avoid unnecessary downtime or delaysPromptly informing co-workers and supervisors of any recognized safety or operational issuesWorking with co-workers in a friendly and respectful mannerPerforming other duties as requiredQualificationsPrior mining experience strongly preferredSkilled ability as an equipment operator preferredExperience operating forklifts and/or mobile equipmentThe ability to work both day shifts and night shiftsAble to work independently and complete task with minimal supervisionPrior haul truck experience preferred.Please refer to the Careers page on our website for instructions on how to apply.
