Process Analyst

Process AnalystResponsible for analyzing and making recommendations for changes to internal processes and/or standards/specifications in order to create more efficient operations. Assist on multiple concurrent projects to identify and document the major business processes associated with the business unit, conduct benchmarking and best practice analysis of the business unit's processes against both industry and non-industry processes, identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes within the entire business unit without jeopardizing reliability, availability, or safety, develop business cases to support recommendations, and, monitor the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes. Apply process modeling tools, process improvement methodology, benchmarking, project management, and change management to projects. Performs assignments designed to develop work knowledge, skills and abilities requiring application of policies, procedures, techniques and other criteria in carrying out all aspects of the job. Performs routine work assignments but over time will demonstrate the ability to perform more difficult work assignments. Works under established policies and procedures to meet set schedules and system or program requirements continues to develop the knowledge, skills and abilities to reach a higher level of proficiency and work complexity.Minimum requirements: 2-3+ years of relevant experience in a directly related field. Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously. Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making, along with knowledge of when to get others involved. Proficient in application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management. Strong customer service orientationEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Bachelor's degree is preferred but willing to accept Associates' degree with strong experience.
