About the Position

Registered Nurse – NICU (Level III)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU supporting approximately 190 births per month
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonatal patients
• Rotate weekend shifts on an every-other basis, with flexibility to accommodate unit needs
• Adhere to facility float policies, which may include floating between like units within the state as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
• Current BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days (required at time of compliance)
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must disclose any license or background hits upfront at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience charting in Epic
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with high-volume NICU environments
