Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing General Contractor with a strong pipeline of public-sector construction projects across Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with 2–3+ years of construction management experience who is looking to take ownership of projects and develop into a more senior position as the Virginia operation continues to grow. Responsibilities: Manage construction projects from preconstruction through completion Oversee project schedules, budgets, contracts and subcontractors Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers and project stakeholders Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation Monitor quality, safety and project progress Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Support the continued growth and development of the Virginia operation Ideal Background: 2–3+ years of construction Project Management experience Strong General Contractor / CM background Proven experience independently managing construction projects Experience with projects valued at $5M–$12M+ Public-sector construction experience highly preferred K-12 / school construction experience is particularly relevant Experience with county, municipal, DPW or other government projects Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills Ambitious and interested in growing into a more senior role County facilities Department of Public Works projects Public-sector construction Projects typically $5M+, with an average project value of approximately $10M–$12M #J-18808-Ljbffr
