Shift: Nights (M-TR, rotating between 6p-6a shift and 9p-6a shift)

Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross-sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities:

• Performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, and portable radiographic procedures
• C-arm procedures and OR imaging services
• Proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures, including various body regions and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Knowledge of processing of CT system and surgical/sterile procedures
• Studies with and without contrast media and cross-sectional anatomy

Requirements:

• 2 years CT experience
• ARRT Certification (CT Certification not required)
• Experience with Philips and GE scanners
• Ability to perform all types of CT's with and without contrast, and CTA's with 3D reconstruction
