Position Summary

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for managing and improving manufacturing processes to ensure they run efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards. This role focuses on solving production issues, leading process improvement initiatives, training manufacturing teams, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, reduce costs, and support business goals.

Shift: 1st shift - 6:30am to 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• • Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure they operate efficiently, consistently, and meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve daily production and process-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, improve safety, and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for manufacturing employees to ensure processes are followed correctly and consistently.
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as Units Per Hour (UPH), production efficiency, and yield, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead technical and cross-functional projects to support manufacturing and business objectives.
  • Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and determine their feasibility for implementation.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and global teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
  • Develop project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate resources across multiple projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and technical updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze manufacturing data, identify risks, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

• • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.

Required Skills

• • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.
  • Experience leading process improvement and technical projects.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and mentor manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience monitoring and improving production KPIs such as UPH, efficiency, and yield.

Preferred Qualifications

• • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Background in electronics manufacturing or high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.
