Dearborn, Michigan – Infrastructure Engineering Engineer #1055763 Position Description Employees in this function are responsible for building and operating IT hardware and software resources in on‑prem, cloud, or hybrid scenarios to support internal customer needs. They operationalize cross‑functional teams across capacity planning and resource optimization, server configuration and maintenance, virtualized environment creation, analytics services, and specialized tool installation. Key Responsibilities Design, operate, and maintain enterprise servers including specialty mainframe systems and high‑performance supercomputing systems. Research, design, implement and maintain complex infrastructure solutions for internal customer needs (software, data warehouses, identity access management, event frameworks, containerization, and on‑demand scaling). Configure secure virtualized environments aligned with enterprise architecture blueprints. Develop or use monitoring solutions to ensure systems are correctly configured, run efficiently, and remain secure. Monitor and review CPU, memory, storage, and network resources to ensure effective utilization and cost control. Resolve bottlenecks, plan future capacity needs, and advise architecture teams on usage trends. Route and operationalize Intune logs in Azure: configure diagnostic settings, author KQL queries, alerts, and workbooks for proactive monitoring. Create Power BI dashboards from the Intune Data Warehouse and Log Analytics queries. Run multi‑device queries at scale using Intune Advanced Analytics. Measure update compliance via Windows Update for Business reports and KQL queries. Deploy and optimize Endpoint analytics and automate with Microsoft Graph. Design and manage Azure Workflows, Log Analytics workspaces, and Azure substrate for analytics. Secure access with Device Compliance and Conditional Access. Document and mentor by publishing runbooks, standards, KQL/Power BI templates, and coaching analysts. Skills Required Microsoft Azure Skills Preferred Client Management Experience Required Engineer 2 experience: practicing 1 coding language or framework, 4+ years in IT, 3+ years in development.
