Capital Sales Person -Trailer Sales

divh2Capital Salesperson/h2pInterstate State Utility Trailer is adding to their team and looking for a skilled and experienced salesperson to represent their industry-leading product lines. This person must have demonstrated experience in the transportation and/or heavy equipment fields. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and have a strong understanding of equipment specifications and finance products. They must be able to travel in their assigned territory and interact with existing and potential customers./ph3Primary Focus and Responsibilities:/h3ulliDevelops and keeps a network of contacts from which to generate new sales opportunities./liliEngages with customers and leads to learn about their product or service requirements; recommends products and services that can fulfill those requirements./liliEstimate and quote prices for new trailer sales, trailer rental and lease deals./liliEnsures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale./liliMonitor and evaluate the industry competitors, new services, and market conditions of the company to identify a customers particular needs./liliTravel is required within designed sales territory to meet prospects and customers./liliConduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily./liliMaintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts./liliWork closely with sales team to help build the brand./liliMaintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems./liliProvides periodic territory sales forecasts./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Qualifications and Education Requirements:/h3ulliDetail oriented and have a strong understanding of equipment specifications and finance products/liliExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills./liliExcellent sales and negotiation skills./liliExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail./liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills./liliAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment./liliProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software./liliBachelors degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field/liliPrior Trailer and/or service sales experience required preferably in the transportation industry./liliThe ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years in the sale of heavy-duty commercial equipment/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliThe physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
