Quality Technician I

Dimensions Direct Reports: None Scope: 1 Steel Mill Annual Production: 300,000-3,000,000 tons Nature And Scope General quality testing, inspection and analysis as required by the product and at the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager. The position reports to either the Routine Facilitator or Quality Assurance Manager, depending on the mill location. Responsibilities Perform daily quality testing requirements, record keeping, reporting and equipment maintenance. Acquire and prepare test samples; conduct the tests and report quality results.
