Bookkeeping Partner

Role Overview We’re looking for a Bookkeeping Partner who can keep our financial records clean, organized, and ready for a smooth monthly close. You’ll work closely with the founders, handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks, and make sure our numbers stay accurate as we move through the beta phase. This is a hands‑on role focused on clarity and consistency. If you enjoy neat books, simple workflows, and supporting a small team, you’ll fit right in. What You’ll Be Doing Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts on a set cadence Record day‑to‑day vendor bills and expenses with clean categorization Maintain AP and help prepare payment runs when needed Prepare monthly financials and a simple variance summary File GST accurately and on time Keep our chart of accounts tidy and update our month‑end checklist Support the founders with ad hoc reports or exports when requested What We’re Looking For Must haves Proven experience in small business or SaaS bookkeeping Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Comfort using receipt capture and bill workflows through tools like Spendifique, Dext, or Hubdoc Solid understanding of AP processes, reconciliations, and month‑end routines Clear communication and dependable turnaround times Nice to have Experience with subscription or software businesses Familiarity with Rippling for payroll reconciliations even though payroll is out of scope Why This Role Is Awesome You’ll work directly with the founders and have a real impact every month Your insights can help shape the tools we’re building, including Spendifique Steady, predictable monthly close work with room for extra projects if you enjoy reporting and analysis Flexible schedule and remote friendly A chance to work with a startup that is building the kind of software bookkeepers have been asking for Our Values Be Open – Growth begins when we stay open to feedback, to change, and to each other. ⚙️ Keep It Simple – Innovate through simplicity.
