We are excited to announce the launch of our new MSc in Cloud Engineering and Artificial Intelligence , a postgraduate programme designed to develop advanced knowledge and specialized skills in the design, deployment, and operation of scalable cloud-native systems integrated with artificial intelligence.

We are looking for professors in the field of Cloud Engineering and Artificial Intelligence with solid teaching and industry experience to deliver the following MSc courses and related topics:

Advanced Cloud Architectures

• Reference architectures and structured well-architected review practice
• Distributed systems principles across event-driven and request-response styles
• Hybrid and multi-cloud governance models
• Cost architecture, FinOps practice and capacity planning
• Predictive scaling using telemetry and AI-assisted demand forecasting
• Trade-off analysis across scalability, performance, resilience and governance

Cloud Platform Engineering and SRE

• Kubernetes control plane architecture and container scheduling
• Service mesh networking and traffic management
• Observability practice using OpenTelemetry
• Defining and operating SLAs, SLOs, SLIs and error budgets
• Predictive auto-scaling and auto-provisioning
• Automated anomaly detection and auto-remediation
• Incident response, post-incident analysis and capacity planning, alongside balancing performance, cost and reliability in production operations

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English (C1+)
• Previous teaching experience
• Ph.D. degree / Professor status
• (plus) Official certifications
• (plus) Relevant professional experience
• Passion for teaching
• Accuracy, punctuality, and excellent organizational skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
