Certifications Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). BLS (Basic Life Support). Licensure Pending license accepted. Non‑Local Driver’s License required on file. Skills and Qualifications Arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, continuous IV paralytics/neuro‑muscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, epicardial pacing wire care and management, hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, PICC line management, pulmonary artery line (Swan‑Ganz) monitoring, titration of cardiac drips, titration of vaso‑active drips, ventilator management. Special equipment proficiency: CRRT, ECMO, Impella, IABP, ventilators, arterial lines, central venous access, pulmonary artery catheters, flotrack, trans‑venous pacers, Minnesota tubes, cooling devices, and vaso‑active drip titrations. Special Requirements Telemetry, vents, specialty equipment. Float required to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED, PACU. Additional Notes COVID vaccination required (exemptions accepted with conditions). Locals not accepted within a 100‑mile radius. EKG testing required: Pass/Fail, 2 tries max. New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks. 6‑month break required for a traveler that has worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached the one‑year mark.
