Senior Incident Commander - Physical Security & Response

We are currently seeking an experienced individuals with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team.You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Site Supervisors and Area Managers for our top clients. In your day to day role as an Incident Commander, you will be acting as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing emergency response. You will perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures, and all state & federal regulations. Other responsibilities include responding to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, staffing deficiencies, and handling client requests in a timely manner. Under certain circumstances, an Incident Commander will be expected to initiate preliminary investigations by writing incident reports on all internal client and company issues. We are not offering visa sponsorship for this position at this time.Base Hourly Rate: $35.00-$40.00Work Schedule: Day / Swing / Grave shifts availableWhat you will doMonitor camera feeds, Video Management Systems (VMS), and Access Control Systems (ACS) to identify and neutralize threats before they escalateConduct ongoing site risk assessments and funnel actionable intelligence to leadership to inform high-level decision-makingMaintain "eyes on the ground" for incident verification, implementing specialized physical protocols such as two-swipe entry and strictly controlled access pointsAct as the primary dispatcher and communication hub between the GSOC and physical response teams during critical incidentsDeliver advanced detection capabilities by merging digital alarm monitoring with physical security patrols (foot and vehicle)Oversee badge printing, credentialing, and technical security integrators to ensure the integrity of client perimetersConduct incident reports on accidents, suspicious activities, and system vulnerabilities, maintaining a high level of situational awarenessProvide low-profile physical security for assigned clients, promoting safety and discretion while conducting vulnerability assessmentsMaintain a high level of physical fitness, a professional personal appearance, and a thorough understanding of today’s security technology across all platformsWhat is requiredMust be eligible for employment within the United StatesMust be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelinesMust be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screeningMust live within driving distanceMust have at least 3+ years of physical security experienceMust have a current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard cardMust have a high school degree or equivalentDemonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergenciesAbility to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgroundsGood judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisionsAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work independently and as a team memberAll applicants must be able to pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date.Please be aware that passing the physical agility test is a requirement for this position.The SPAT is a timed sequence of multiple physical events requiring you to progress along a predetermined path from event to event in a continuous manner until completeCPR/First Aid/AED for all ages is requiredAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredDemonstrate an operational understanding of today’s technology across all platformsStrong writing and interpersonal skillsWhat is Desired / OptionalSpecialized Permits: Current CCW or firearms permits for potential transition to armed agent status.Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.Professional Experience: Prior Military or Law Enforcement (ODO) experience is highly prioritized.Technical Certifications: Formal TECC/TCCC (Tactical Casualty Care) certifications, NREMT licensure, or experience with advanced tactical medical integration.Specialized Training: Experience with Executive Protection, anti-terrorism protocols, or high-threat driving.International Proficiency: Experience with overseas protection assignments and international travel logistics.If you share our values and are ready to build your next career, we want to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
