Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their functional aspirations.
• Implement Evidence-based Interventions: Apply scientifically supported methods to boost patients' physical capabilities, cognitive function, and daily life skills.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in concert with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide inclusive and comprehensive care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Empower patients and their families with knowledge about therapy techniques that facilitate ongoing progress at home.
• Assess and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the path to recovery.

Education

• Valid Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Support for continuing education or additional post-graduate certifications is available

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
