Electrical Foreman/ Superintendent

Seeking a Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent to join the team in the Baton Rouge, LA area. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced commercial electrical professional who can lead field operations on complex projects while helping drive productivity, safety, and successful project delivery across a growing backlog of work. What You'll Do as the Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent: Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial electrical construction projects Manage and direct electrical crews, subcontractors, and workflow activities Coordinate manpower planning, production schedules, and project execution Oversee installation of feeders, branch systems, underground rough-in, lighting, devices, equipment, and specialty systems Maintain project schedules while ensuring quality workmanship and jobsite safety Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance standards Review project drawings, specifications, and installation requirements Track project progress through daily logs and production reporting Coordinate closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and field leadership Assist with material planning, procurement coordination, and short-term scheduling Mentor apprentices, helpers, and junior electricians in the field Support safe, profitable, and efficient project completion from start to finish Must-Haves as the Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent: 5+ years of commercial electrical construction leadership experience Proven experience leading crews and managing commercial electrical projects independently Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, installations, and field operations Experience coordinating manpower, schedules, and production activities Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and electrical plans Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Stable work history with a long-term career mindset Valid driver's license Nice-to-Haves as the Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent: Experience on healthcare, institutional, higher education, manufacturing, or large commercial projects OSHA and electrical safety training certifications NFPA 70E Arc Flash Training NCCER Electrical Certification EWP and Forklift Certifications First Aid / CPR / AED Training Experience managing projects valued at $2M-$10M+ Offers: $35-$45/hr base pay depending on experience Overtime opportunities based on project workload Annual performance bonus program Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Fuel card provided Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage PTO and paid holidays Strong long-term advancement opportunities into senior leadership roles Stable backlog of large commercial projects Family-oriented culture with strong employee retention Primarily local work within the Baton Rouge region
