RN – Adult Orthopedic/Neuro TraumaSchedule: 12-hour NightsRequirements:Active RN licenseBLS certificationEpic documentation experienceMinimum 2 years of clinical RN experience in the last 5 yearsKey clinical skills:Heparin drips and vaso/continuous drips managementBlood product administrationCentral line/PICC care and peripheral IV startsPhlebotomyChest tube management, surgical drainsTracheostomy care and non-invasive airway managementFeeding tube and colostomy careWound careManagement/recognition of dysrhythmias and telemetry familiarityIsolation precautions/PPERoles & Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with severe orthopedic trauma and neurological impairments.Administer medications and IV therapies per established protocols.Manage and monitor patients post-operatively, including the care of surgical drains and chest tubes.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Conduct assessments and implement nursing interventions based on patient needs.Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.Compliance / Notes:Orientation includes a 12-hour unit orientation and 16-hour organizational education.Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.Floating required to similar units and alternate care locations.Client Details:City: WilmingtonState: NCTLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
