:Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Copilot technologies to join its team in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing advanced AI/ML solutions, building predictive models, analyzing large-scale datasets, and contributing to Copilot-related initiatives that enhance user productivity and business outcomes

.Key Responsibilitie

• sDesign, develop, and deploy Machine Learning and AI models to solve complex business problems
• .Work on Copilot and Generative AI use cases, including prompt engineering, model evaluation, and optimization
• .Analyze structured and unstructured data to derive actionable insights and recommendations
• .Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders
• .Build and maintain predictive models, recommendation systems, classification models, and NLP-based solutions
• .Conduct statistical analysis, experimentation, and A/B testing to measure model effectiveness
• .Develop data pipelines and model monitoring processes to ensure performance and reliability
• .Present findings and technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• .Stay current with advancements in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, and Microsoft AI technologies

.Required Skill

• s8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence
• .Strong hands-on experience with Python and data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• .Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Copilot technologies, and prompt engineering
• .Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms
• .Experience working with Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, or cloud-based AI platforms
• .Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques
• .Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
• .Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

.Preferred Qualification

• sExperience working on Microsoft Copilot, AI Assistants, or enterprise GenAI solutions
• .Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and LLM evaluation frameworks
• .Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring in cloud environments
• .Background in NLP, recommendation systems, or conversational AI
