In this role, you'll proactively create new opportunities to build relationships throughout the Philadelphia area. As a remote employee, you will travel within your designated territory to meet with potential and existing customers to understand their needs, build rapport, and explore how our fire protection solutions can address their life safety requirements. You will leverage your prospecting and lead generating experience to create a sales pipeline and close fire alarm and sprinkler inspections sales with the resources and support of a high growth, firmly established industry leader.Primarily road-based/remote, with travel throughout the designated Philadelphia territory; headquarters in King of Prussia, PA.What You'll Be DoingProactively identify, pursue, and maintain a constant pipeline of potential customers via prospecting, networking, social media use, and referral activities within a regional marketTake the lead in negotiating and closing deals by uncovering and addressing objections and concerns from the customerDevelop new regional accountsProvide strategic insight and guidance to help reach our sales goals, create stronger brands, and foster customer retentionAnalyze competitor’s capabilities and approaches to diminish their impactWorking knowledge of Customer Experience best practicesUnderstand and prioritize work to ensure we exceed expectations of customer satisfactionFunction effectively in a high paced environmentEstablish broad and deep relationships with strategic customer roles with decision making authority or influence in the organizationDevelop growth plan for all existing customers which includes identifying and securing growth opportunitiesProactively identify value-creation opportunities for customersAccurately track growth opportunities through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) toolTake the lead in communicating direction and progress / status of deals to senior leadershipWhat We're Looking ForRequiredMinimum of 2 years in B2B salesDemonstrate exceptional time-management skillsExperience in handling difficult and/or escalated situationsDemonstrate leadership, decision-making, and team building skillsDemonstrate strong oral, written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and results-drivenProficient in using CRM softwareMicrosoft Office softwareAbility to interpret building and fire codesTravel within your designated territory to meet with potential and existing customersPreferredB2B sales experience in the fire protection industryHunter sales experience highly desiredWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experience, education, and certificationsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and long-term disability insurance100% company-funded profit-sharing programProfessional development opportunitiesSupportive team-oriented environmentWhy OliverWe're proud of the culture we've built at Oliver.
