Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Valid California Medical License
• AHA ACLS Certification
• Proven experience in high-acuity, hospital-based care
• Ability to perform procedures, including vent management and code response
• Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in academic or teaching hospital settings
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system
• Prior work as a nocturnist or in similar evening/night roles
• Additional certifications or training in critical care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of hospitalist experience, especially in high-volume or high-acuity environments

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work at both Irvine and Los Alamitos locations
• Ability to credential within approximately 30 days
• Travel or licensure reimbursements available as applicable
• Local candidates only-drive-in candidates preferred; no flights needed, with mileage and hotel reimbursements offered if necessary
