Transportation Driver

The Transportation Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, private residences, and other approved destinations. This position requires a professional, courteous individual who is committed to providing safe, reliable transportation and excellent customer service. Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle to ensure safe transfers. Communicate with the facility regarding transportation schedules, delays, and additional instructions. Operate GPS, two-way radio, and/or cell phone for navigation and communication. Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Keep company vehicles clean and in good working order. Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. Provide professional and respectful customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid Illinois driver's license required. Pass Background Check Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements. Ability to safely assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
