Litigation Attorney- Personal Injury/Med Mal/Wrongful Death

A well-established litigation firm in Gallup, New Mexico is seeking an associate attorney with 2–9 years of experience. This role offers the opportunity to manage meaningful cases while working closely with experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative environment. Firm is 90 minutes drive from Albuquerque and a 45 minute flight from Phoenix.

Responsibilities:

• Manageable caseload
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses
• Conduct depositions and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Work closely with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses
• Prepare cases for trial and assist in courtroom proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation strategy

Qualifications:

• 2–9 years of litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred)
• Licensed and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and legal writing skills
• Experience managing cases independently with support from senior attorneys
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced litigation environment
