Our client, a reputable company in the real estate industry, is seeking a Director of Facilities to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role.Job Summary:As the Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of all residential and commercial facilities for our client. This includes managing a team of 9 staff members, handling vendor relationships, and ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of all properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial facilities management and a strong understanding of HVAC systems.Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of 9 staff members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations- Oversee the maintenance and repairs of all residential and commercial properties- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for facility maintenance and repairs- Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes- Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient facility management- Monitor and manage facility budgets and expenses- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of all facilities- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facilities managementQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial facilities management- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and building codes- Experience managing a team and working with vendors- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines- Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management softwareThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to join a reputable company and make a significant impact.
