Certified Surgical First Assistant

Certified Surgical First Assistant for an acute inpatient OR and client OR setting. ASAP start is required. Orientation occurs every Monday. Locals within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate. Days shift from 07:00 to 19:30, working 3 days a week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. BLS certification is required, and ACLS and NBSTSA are preferred. Call and weekend shifts are mandatory. Candidates must have experience with a variety of surgical procedures and techniques including laparoscopic, robotic, and various other surgeries. Knowledge of aseptic techniques is essential. Experience with suturing all wound layers, including muscle and fascia, is required. Candidates will provide support to the surgical team and assist in patient care during surgery. Overall readiness for a dynamic and fast-paced surgical environment is a must.
