Specimen Processor
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor to prepare and route laboratory specimens in a high-throughput clinical environment. The role involves specimen handling, labeling, data entry, and shipping in the Fort Wayne facility.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and unpack laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Identify, label, and route specimens to appropriate staging areas
- Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities
- Enter patient information accurately and perform specimen documentation
- Meet departmental activity and production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs
- Able to pass standardized color blindness test
- Experience with MS Office preferred
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
