Assistant Branch Manager – Argent Credit UnionArgent Credit Union is looking for a service-minded leader to help our branch team give members an excellent experience. In this role, you'll support the Senior Retail Manager in leading, coaching and scheduling branch staff, and you'll also work directly with members to deepen their relationship with the credit union.Help supervise daily branch activities, including work assignments, scheduling and staff coverage across all service channelsCoach, motivate and develop team members to meet branch and individual performance goalsKeep branch operations running smoothly by monitoring systems and equipment, resolving issues and planning for downtimePerform all branch functions as needed, including opening and closing the branchHelp members with deposit accounts, consumer and mortgage loans, debit cards, automatic payments and online bankingAssess members' financial needs and recommend products, services and promotions that fit themResolve member complaints and errors, help prevent fraud, and build long-term member relationships3 years of lending or customer service experience at a credit union or other financial institutionSupervisory experience or demonstrated leadership 1 year minimumStrong communication, coaching, conflict resolution and sales skillsHigh integrity and a team-first attitudeCollege degree and solid computer skills preferredThis is an office-based role. It involves regular standing, walking and reaching, plus occasionally lifting items up to 25 lbs.
