Note: To qualify, candidates must hold a Medical Assistant Certification, have 1+ year of medical office experience, and maintain current CPR certification. Job Description Assist physicians with oral biopsies, laser procedures, and other specialized treatments. Prepare examination rooms, surgical instruments, and procedure trays. Communicate with patients regarding procedures, biopsy results, and follow‑up care under clinical direction. Take vital signs, document patient histories, and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Sterilize medical instruments and maintain proper infection control standards. Provide clear, compassionate instructions and support patients throughout their visits. Coordinate patient callbacks, prescription communications, and daily clinical workflows. Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification required. 1+ year of experience in a medical office environment. Current CPR certification required. High school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control procedures. Strong patient communication, organizational, and computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records. Dental office, oral pathology, or ENT experience preferred. GE Centricity experience is a plus, but not required.
