Diesel Technician

Our Technician is responsible for performing high-quality maintenance and repairs on International Motors and IC Bus vehicles. This role ensures safety, customer satisfaction, and efficient operations by following established repair procedures and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key responsibilities include preparing for service events, performing maintenance and repairs accurately and safely, documenting work thoroughly, applying technical expertise in troubleshooting and repair methods, maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, promoting safety and compliance, mentoring coworkers and apprentices, communicating effectively, delivering exceptional customer service, and taking ownership of challenges and opportunities.

General knowledge and skills you will need include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of International and IC Bus products and services, applying knowledge of repair and maintenance procedures, communicating clearly and respectfully, motivating and encouraging team members to strive for excellence, planning and organizing daily tasks, identifying and solving routine issues, upholding and promoting a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment, and utilizing software systems and digital tools effectively.

Desired education and experience include medium or heavy-duty technician, equivalent experience or qualification, applicable certifications related to industry, products, and/or safety, currently maintains or can obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL), and International Master Certified.
