Basic Job Functions Seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded effective communicator to join our team. The NTS Buyer will be responsible for order placement as well as refining processes and procedures to support procurement initiatives including MRO, capital projects, raw material and outside processing. This position will serve as the business unit subject matter expert in support of a new ERP system and purchasing transactions, reporting and analysis. This position will be in Rock Hill, SC but may require travel to other production facilities on an as-needed basis. Nucor Towers & Structures is part of Nucor’s Expand Beyond initiative. NTS builds transmission towers that are critical for America’s future infrastructure. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
