Position Overview We are accepting applications for multiple Permanent/Full‑Time Psychiatric Technician positions. Under general supervision, incumbents administer care to forensic, LPS, and medically fragile patients; assist in planning and evaluation of nursing care; provide basic behavioral and psychiatric nursing care; and facilitate the rehabilitation of forensic clients and patients. Facilitate rehabilitation of forensic clients and patients. Be willing to work in any unit/program and any shift. Qualifications Valid California Psychiatric Technician license. Eligibility status for those without a license, e.g., passing the Psychiatric Technician (Safety) exam bulletin. Mandatory completion of drug screening, background investigation, and medical clearance prior to hire. Ability to attend New Employee Orientation (NEO) in its entirety within 30 days of hire. Special Requirements Drug screening must be passed prior to hire. Background investigation must be cleared prior to hire. Medical clearance must be obtained prior to hire. A copy of the CA Psychiatric Technician license must be provided before hire. Compensation $5,843.00 – $6,797.00 (Safety level)
