As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns with professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM Fri: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific requirements, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations. Maintain accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated client contacts. Minimum Requirements: Customer Service Experience is preferred. A Guard Card/License is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
