Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and respond effectively to clinical changes during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and document patient care according to medical protocols and standards.
• Continuously monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data to detect early signs of deterioration.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans and update physicians on patient status.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing lifesaving interventions when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Active PA or Compact nursing license required at submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience.
• Current AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS) required and must be maintained.
• Ability to float within the hospital and work every other holiday.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Cerner or similar electronic medical records system preferred.
