Our client is a confidential, wellestablished contractor with a strong presence in Syracuse, NY. They are recognized for delivering complex Building and Construction projects, particularly within the higher education sector. Job Description

In this Building and Constrcution Estimator - Syracuse role, you will:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and higher education projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing evaluations
Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids
Develop budgets and cost projections for project planning
Collaborate with project managers and preconstruction teams
Support bid submissions and value engineering efforts

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Building and Constrcution Estimator - Syracuse candidate will bring:

3-7+ years of experience as an estimator in construction
Strong background in higher education or institutional projects
Experience within commercial Building and Construction
Proficiency in takeoff and estimating software
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
