Description

Job Overview: Provide guest service in line with SMSC GE's culture of Purpose, Vision, and Values. Applies high guest service standards. Processes transactions pertaining to retail charges. Reconciles cash-drawer. Processes retail sales transactions. Illuminate Your Future: What You'll Do:
- Perform open and close gift shop procedures, operate POS system, and process merchandise sales, ticketing, credit, debit, and cash transactions. Ensure daily cash reports are accurate and complete.
- Provide visitor reception, including information in the form of SMSC outreach brochures, and/or other media.
- Assist with creating visual merchandising displays incorporating seasonal themes.
- Monitor the retail area's physical condition and appearance and ensure security of inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Six months' sales and guest service experience.
- Ability to pass basic math test.
- Must have working knowledge of cash register and computer operations.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
