QUALITY CONTORL: WHERE ATTENTOIN TO DETA IL IS A MUTS ... THE OPPORTUNITY:Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Lead, this position is responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality control for all garments produced. Communicate with team members when garments are imperfect and need to be redone. Fold, tag, label, box and count garments, records styles and quantities of garments produced and prepare them for shipping. Sewing Experience preferred!! Schedule: M-F, 8a-4pPay: $15/hrA Typical Day (job functions) | Inspect + Sort + Fold + Count + Monitor + Organize Inspect all high post production garments for correct ink/thread colors, proper logo placement, labels and general flawsMaintain Lakeshirts acceptable standard of quality per garment Sort, count and fold garments by size/color/garment style and prepare them for shippingRead and understand work orders and profiles to ensure each account is processed correctlyKeep work area clean and orderlyOrganize work flowFollow safety practices. Identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards Work actively with others to get the job doneUse computer programs, such as excel, to access order profile and be able to understand the steps required for each garmentSewing machine experience, sewing labels on garments Other duties as assignedSkills (qualifications) | Keen Eye for Detail + Meticulous + Self-Starter High school education desirable, but not requiredBasic computer experience required-excel, word, tabletAbility to work well in a teamMust be reliable, responsible and take direction wellMust be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hoursAbility to be stand for 8-10 hours a dayPrevious production experience preferred, but not requiredMust be able to efficiently lift 30-50 pound boxesWHY LAKESHIRTS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT TO BE.
