Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date: 09/21/2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,509 to $1,588. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts on a 3-day-per-week schedule. Work setting: hospital environment with Medical-Surgical general patient care and potential overflow oncology. The assignment uses EPIC for charting and requires no time-off requests (No RTO).

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, professional nursing care for medical-surgical patients per the plan of care
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support wound care as ordered
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and case management to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Prioritize patient safety, fall prevention, infection control, pain management, and symptom relief
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Georgia; Nursys license verification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
- EPIC EMR experience or willingness to use EPIC; EPIC experience required
- No time-off requests (No RTO) during the assignment
- Candidate profile must include: work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days,Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card, Nursys verification
- Common patient types include Medical-Surgical general and overflow oncology
