York Hospital Diagnostic RadiologyFull Time (80 hours/pay period)Nights10:00p-8:00a rotation with weekends, holidays, and on callGeneral SummaryPerforms routine diagnostic, technical and/or special radiographic procedures at a general skill level.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms radiographic examinations, obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns.Performs diagnostic procedures in one of the following specialty areas at a beginner level: operating room procedures (includes overhead, fluoroscopic and C-arm procedures), complex portables, or trauma procedures.Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure.Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety proceduresProperly processes images using digital technologyEvaluates recorded images for technical quality; consistently maintains a repeat rate under 6%.Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed.Required for All Jobs:Performs other related duties as identified.WellSpan Health has adopted and implemented a compliance program to support WellSpan's values and standards for professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
