This is a contract position offering 12-hour shifts, either day or night, with flexible scheduling options. Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities & Duties Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting to the care team. Provide tracheostomy and ventilator care, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Educate families on care plans and medical procedures to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and infection control measures. Registered Nurse Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a valid NYS RN license required. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or critical care. Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is highly desirable; training provided if needed. Hospital experience and familiarity with sub‑acute care settings are advantageous. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
